Summary
Papers 1939-1964. Roy Connolly was a journalist and political writer, serving at one time as editor of the Labour Daily in Sydney, at another time as press officer to Sir Arthur Fadden and later as publicist for the Liberal and Country Parties in the election campaign of 1949. In 1964 he published John Drysdale and the Burdekin, a history of the Drysdale family of the Pioneer Sugar Estate. The Connolly papers comprise:
