Summary

Correspondence. Daniel Michael Paul Cudmore 1811-1891 came to Tasmania from Ireland with his wife Mary in 1835. He was on the land in South Australia from 1837 to 1847, after which he carried out exploration in South Australia and North Queensland. He held land in North Queensland and also took up Avoca Station in New South Wales in the 1870s. Letters, ca.1870-1890, 46 items. Most of the letters are from Arthur, Daniel Jnr and Milo Cudmore of Avoca Station, and from other relatives; there is one letter from Daniel Cudmore Snr written from the Herbert River in 1877.
