Summary
A significant number of Finnish people have immigrated to Australia, especially since World War II and there is a sizable Finnish community at Mount Isa in Queensland. The following was research material collected by Mr O. Koivukangas for his doctoral thesis, Scandinavian immigration and settlement in Australia before World War II.
