Papers on the Burke and Wills expedition of 1860-1861. Apparently Weatherston intended to write a book on the expedition and he collected a large quantity of relevant material including correspondence, manuscripts, diary extracts, reports and newspaper extracts. Research notes and drafts of a manuscript are included with the collection. National Library of Australia MS.295.
