Photographs 1917-1941, Serial Articles 1942-1945. Thomas L. Armstrong managed Corona, a sheep station near Longreach, from 1917 to 1941 for the Australian Agricultural Company. The photograph Collection, comprising 238 items, depicts station and family activities during this period. Included are scenes of homestead buildings, stock work such as drafting and horsebreaking, sporting and social activities including the Corona Picnic Races, transport photographs of bullock teams, motor cars and aircraft including a print of Hudson Fysh with a Qantas aeroplane at Corona, also station employees. Aborigines, scenes of neighbouring stations and of Boulia, Dajarra and Urandangie. The serial articles are photostats of three items written by Thomas L. Armstrong and published in The Pastoral Review and Graziers' Record, 1942-1945. A.B.L. 68.
