Records 1862-1896. The Valley of Lagoons on the Upper Burdekin was taken up in the land rush of 1861. The property was developed by a partnership of George Elphinstone Dalrymple, the Queensland Premier Robert Herbert, and two friends of the latter, Charles and Walter Scott. The Scotts arrived in the colony in 1862 to assume management of the Valley of Lagoons. Correspondence 1862-1896 of Arthur and Walter Scott with their family in England and business associates in the Valley of Lagoons, one reel, 35mm. microfilm.
