Papers, ca.1905-ca.1965. Harold Ingemann Jensen, Danish born author, geologist and soil expert graduated BSc, DSc and University Medallist from University of Sydney, after which he worked in the field of geology in New South Wales, the Northern Territory and from 1917-1922 with the Queensland Mines Department. During this period he was involved in the inquiry into the Mungana Mines. Collection of correspondence, field notebooks, books, articles, newspapers, accounts, receipts, maps and charts. Subjects include the Geology of the Roma District, the Geology of north Queensland, Seasonal Weather Forecasting, etc. Some 230 manuscripts of his scientific reports, articles and papers. In addition there are some 75 manuscripts of articles on political and economic subjects and manuscript drafts of novels poems and literary articles; approximately 400 letters chiefly relating to mining and geology. Correspondents include John Rendrew Craig, Sir Tennatt William Edgeworth David, Andrew Fisher, E.H. Hughes, William Morris Hughes, R.J. Winter and Andrew Rindberg. 23 boxes, six parcels.
