Randall was an emigration agent and lecturer for the Queensland government, and was instrumental in settling many farm workers from Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and other counties, in Queensland. He also published a book of poems The Emigrant ... and other verses, which appeared in collected form in 1928. Letterbooks of reports and correspondence to the Queensland Government, also newspaper extracts on emigration, 1886-1902. 2 feet 3 inches. FRYER.
