Summary
Addresses and newspaper extracts. William Forgan-Smith migrated to Queensland from Scotland in 1913. He became an active member of the Australian Workers' Union and entered the Queensland State parliament in 1915. Forgan-Smith was leader of the Labor Party that won office in 1932, and he remained premier of Queensland until his resignation in 1942.
