Photographs, newspaper extracts. English born soldier, served in the Boer War, appointed A.D.C. to the Governor of New South Wales 1903. Served in the First World War and to 1923 held political office in Britain. From 1923 he was Governor of Bombay, then Governor of Queensland 1932-1946. Photographic collection, 1903-ca.l905, covering Wilson's social and official life in New South Wales, and also a visit to north Queensland in July 1904, one album, 25 x 32 cm.
