Summary
Biographical notes. Sellheim was born in Germany, and studied merino breeding in Silesia before emigrating to Queensland in 1855. From 1861 to 1866 he owned Strathmore Station then managed the Valley of Lagoons 1866-1870. He was gold-field Warden on the Palmer 1874-1880, Charters Towers 1880-1888, Gympie 1888-1892, and Undersecretary for Mines from 1892-1899.
