Summary

Records 1906-1949. A British leased company, it expanded its activities Into south-eastern Australia from 1903; by the 1930s interests included the Moreton Freezing Works, Banchory Station in central Queensland and Thomhill Station near Bundaberg. In 1928 the Burdekin Freezing Works at Sellheim were acquired but closed shortly afterward; in 1933 the Bowen Meatworks were purchased from Berges. In the post Second World War period the company also held two station properties in the Cloncurry district. An extensive collection of records held, arranged in three sections:

Group 1. Management records. Correspondence, balance sheets, auditor's reports, various memoranda.

Group 2. Accounts. Cash books, ledgers, records of purchases and expenses etc.
