Correspondence 1855-1891, with biographical data regarding the family 1843-1935. One volume. George Hobler, 1801-1881, emigrated from England 1825, he held properties in Tasmania and New South Wales then moved to California. His eldest son Helvetius, 1825-1899, returned to Australia in 1855 and owned several properties in Queensland including finally Bucknalla Estate near Westwood, Rockhampton.
