I. Correspondence, 1843-1853.

A. Letters, Ludwig Leichhardt to T.L. Mitchell, mainly regarding proposed Port Essington expedition,

(i) from Mr Archer's station Bunya Bunya, 11 December 1843,

(ii) from Sydney 24 July 1844.

B. Letter from Mitchell's sister Bentley, 27 January 1852 to another brother quoting two letters from T.L. Mitchell to herself regarding inter alia the death of his son, Roderick.

C. Letter from T.L. Mitchell from London, 23 July 1853, to his wife Mary in Australia regarding inter alia the Boomerang propeller.

II. Poems addressed to explorers, 1836-1845.

A. To T.L. Mitchell Esq., M.R.G.S. and F.G.S. on an expedition of discovery, by H. Halloran, 4 March 1836.
