Summary
Papers, 1893-1908. Edmund Morey owned pastoral property in New South Wales 1843-1861, and on the Darling Downs 1862-1869. Among his close associates were Thomas Sutcliffe Mort and James Tyson. Morey travelled throughout Queensland and from 1869-1901 held a position as police magistrate in the colony. The papers include reminiscences of his travels in Queensland, in manuscript and typescript. One volume. MITCHELL: ML.MSS.883.
