Reminiscences, 1909. Typescript, Reminiscences of a Western Queensland Pioneer, 1851-1900, pp.23, bound. Covers Raven's voyage from Liverpool to Melbourne in 1851, his pastoral experience in southeastern Australia, an overland trip with sheep to central Queensland ca.1860, and occupation of Stainburn Downs near Aramac. Includes an account of pastoral pioneering, Aborigines, frontier lawlessness and shearers' strikes. Depression forced Raven off Stainburn Downs in 1869, whereafter he managed several stations and was later pastoral manager for the Bank of New South Wales, in Queensland and New South Wales until 1900.
