Summary
Correspondence 1842-1868. John Roper came to Australia in 1843 and in 1844 joined Leichhardt's expedition to Port Essington. He later managed a general store at Albury. His brothers Walter and William migrated to Australia in 1852. Letters, mainly from John Roper to his family in England and brothers in Australia.
