Summary
Watercolours and pencil sketches, 1871-1876. Mrs Marten came to Queensland in 1873 and settled at Winterbourne in the Pioneer River district, where she remained to 1877. Includes scenes of Aden, the Suez Canal and Sydney, but most depict Queensland, including seascapes of Whitsunday Passage and Mole Harbour, also the Pioneer River, Winterbourne homestead, Gracemere and Mt Spencer.
