Summary

Records 1824-1952. The Australian Agricultural Company, formed in London in 1824 was primarily concerned with pastoral and mining interests in New South Wales. However its pastoral interests later extended into other states including Queensland, and since 1911 have included Corona, Blandensberg, El Rita, Headingly, Highfields and Marion Lake, and in recent times Toolebuck and Wrotham Park Stations. Some material relating to the Queensland properties may be included in this Archives collection, which comprises despatches and correspondence, land registers, contracts of conveyances of land sold, annual reports, maps, 1824-1953; and a typescript copy of The Australian Agricultural Company, 1824-1875, by Jesse Gregson, Sydney, 1907. 58 volumes, eight boxes and maps.
