Summary

Items: one box. Location: 122R. The Hann family led by Joseph and Elizabeth Hann came from Westernport Victoria and settled Maryvale and Bluff Downs Stations in the Kennedy district of north Queensland in 1862. Records cover their final years in Victoria, then" move to Queensland, pioneering experience and general pastoral life. Primary source material covers 1860-1926, and includes the record of William Hanit's explorative expedition to Cape York in 1872.

William Hann, Mannus Station, Victoria, August 1860-July 1861, one volume.

William Hann, January 1861-May 1862, one volume, covers the inspection and selection of Bluff Downs and Maryvale runs in north Queensland.

William Hann, dates have been altered, 1 January-22 July contain entries for 1863. These entries are followed by 24 July 1862-31 December 1862, one volume.

Joseph Hann, 22 July 1863-5 December 1863, one volume, including sundry contracts between Joseph Hann and employees, plus accounts.

William Hann, 26 August 1863-5 September 1863, one volume, includes sundry accounts and record of sheep shorn between September and October.
