Journal 13 January-18 March 1864. Handwritten, photocopied, soft bound. Describes an exploratory voyage from Bowen to Rockingham Bay via Gould Island, with Q.E. Dalrymple, Arthur Scott and party, aboard the vessel Policeman. Also enclosed extracted article from Contact, May-June 1967, on James Morrill and the 1864 journal, the original of which is held by the Jack family of Brandon via Ayr, pp. 4.
