Individual photographs in the Society collection include portraits, Aboriginal groups, scenes of early Barcaldine and buildings, including Churches, business houses, Roman Catholic convent, hospital, transport subjects including railway topics from 1886, also local processions, social and sporting groups, Barcaldine Fire Brigade groups and vehicle ca 1930.
The secretary of the Barcaldine Historical Society advised that he holds minutes of meetings of the Barcaldine Race Club; there are also additional records relating to the 1891 Shearers' Strike, which were on loan when this coverage of the Society collection was made. No further details of these two items are available.
