Summary
The Society is concerned with the history of that section of the Atherton Tableland which includes the centres of Malanda, Milla Milla and Yungaburra. The Society meets at regular monthly intervals, when members present historical papers which are published, as Society Bulletins. A coverage of record holdings was not possible, however the advice was that the Collection includes a very good display of museum pieces, particularly machinery and equipment of the early settlers, timber getters and farmers, also household items; a large photograph collection relating to this region is also held.
