The letterbooks are of Cork Station, situated to the north west of Longreach and are signed by company staff, including Martin Hayward, M. Macdonald, D.A. Mathieson, R.B. Norris, T.A. Snelling and William Stone. Some books are also used to record wages and expenditure figures, and miscellaneous notes.

Correspondence file, Dalgety and Co., Winton Office, stock and station agents. March 1933-June 1934, some 300 sheets.

Records relating to the Shearers' Strike, including correspondence, official telegrams, lists of special constables appointed, newspaper extracts, March 1891-September 1894, pp. 182, 32, all items photocopied and arranged in display cases.

Diary of R.M. Watson, ca 1873, an account of early pastoral settlement of Gregory Downs run in the Gulf country, typescript, pp. 28, donated to the Historical Society by Dr F.H. Bauer, with covering note. The Winton and District Historical Society kindly allowed this item to be copied for the Delamothe Collection of History, James Cook University.
