Summary
The family hold copies of the diary of T.M. See Poy, [Taam Sze Pui], a very limited edition of which has been printed and entitled My Life and Work. The diary is in Chinese script with English subtitles added; it covers the experiences of Taam Sze Pui who came from Canton in southern China to Australia in 1877, where he went to the north Queensland goldfields, and later established a business in Geraldton (Innisfail) in ca 1884. Copies of the diary are also held in the Cairns Historical Society, the Delamothe Collection, and in the Mitchell Library. In the latter it is housed with printed records.
