Summary
The Gogango Division was established in 1879, it became the Gogango Shire in 1903, and the name was changed to Livingstone Shire in September that year. This coverage was carried out at the Shire Office in North Rockhampton, where the Council was anticipating its transfer to new offices in Yeppoon. Records are listed as found in that situation. An additional listing covers records then held at the Council's Yeppoon depot.

A collection of Council financial records including cash books, ledgers, rate cash books, valuation and rate books, from nineteenth century to recent years. Photographs, framed portraits of Council identities, local scenes, floods, bridges etc. The Council office entrance had a roll of honour, listing Livingstone Shire residents who served in the 1914-1918 war.
