In addition the Department's Archeological Branch, located at 418-424 Ann Street, Fortitude Valley, holds the following:
1 nitro-cellulose film, covering Aboriginal reserves throughout Queensland, filmed and edited by J.W. Bleakley, Chief Protector of Aborigines ca. 1927-1932. The film was taken during a tour made of Aboriginal communities by the Minister of Aboriginal Affairs during the early 1930s; Bleakley is also thought to have added film he had taken from 1927. The film was located recently among records held at Cherbourg; it is a silent, black and white film and runs for approximately 5 hours.
