Summary
The research station was established in approximately 1935 and is concerned with research into tropical pastures and related studies such as soils, pests and animal husbandry. Primary Source material is held relating to these fields of study, including reports, correspondence, manuscript and typescript material, and there is also data on rainfall and climate. The records date from approximately 1940. A collection of printed material is also held including standard texts, papers presented to congresses and conferences and periodicals. The latter includes: Queensland Agricultural Journal, 1911-present.
