First est. 1885, later disbanded, but re-established on a permanent basis in 1922. Limited records only remain of the period to 1922. Other holdings include minutes of Council of Queensland and Executive meetings from 1922. Trade Union Congress records 1910-1975, complete, comprehensive Union record holdings date from 1950. An annual publication Trade Union Directory 1970+ is held, along with The Organizer, a publication relating to the Unemployed Workers' Union.
