Summary
The Secretary advised that an extensive collection of Longreach branch records were transferred to Canberra in 1975, (see Archives of Business and Labour). Only a small quantity of records remain in the office, these include records of a recent nature, a small collection of photographs including portraits of early Union secretaries, local politicians, and group photographs, e.g. delegates to AWU conventions. A back run of the Worker newspaper is also held: 6 January 1900-22 December 1900, 1 vol., 5 January 1901-28 December 1901, 1 vol.
