Summary

The mill was established by Charles and John Young in 1882 and crushing began the following year. It is now under the control of C.S.R. Limited, following the amalgamation of C.S.R. with the previous owners Australian Estates in 1975. Few historical records survived the transfer to new offices which followed after the amalgamation.
