Summary
St Gabriel's was founded by the Anglican Diocese of North Queensland, and was opened on 8th February 1921, under the control of the Sisters of the Society of the Sacred Advent. The school provides boarding faculties for primary and secondary school girls and is now run by lay teachers. Since 1973 it has been operated in conjunction with All Souls School. A small collection of records is held at St Gabriel's; additional St Gabriel's material is held at All Souls.
