24 November 1768 Thursday, 24th This day a Spanish Packet / a Small Brigg / arrived here from from Buenos ayres put in here in her way to Spain. This Vessel belonged to His Catholic Majesty, and notwithstanding the Viceroy had all along pretended that the orders he had respecting Foreign Vessels were general yet this Vessel met with very diferent treatment from us, no Guard was put over her and her officers and crew respected went wherever they pleased.
