Sunday 22nd Winds between the South and the West, first and latter parts fresh gales and squally with rain, the Middle little wind and rain   AM found the Variation by several Azimuths to be 25° 4' East, unbent the Cables and Stowed the Anchors —  At Noon Latd observed 56°..7' and Longitude made from the Cape of Good Success 42' East ——
