22 September 1770 Saturday 22nd. Winds at SSE, SE and East a gentle breeze which we steer'd WSW by Compass. At 4 oClock we discover'd a small low Island bearing SSW distant 3 Leagues, this Island hath no place in any of our charts ^/ Latde 10°.47' Longd 238°.28' West./.
