Weather as yesterday. In ye AM found the Variation by the Mean of ye Ampd & Azths to be 5°..34' West, and by Observation of the Sun and Moon found the Ship in Longd 43°..18' Wt of Greenwich, 2°..51' West of the Log sence the last observations, this I judge to be owing to a westerly Current.
