About this Edition

This online edition of Henry Brook Adams's Memoirs of Arii Taimai was created from the privately printed 1901 Paris edition of the Memoirs. Adams's text was photocopied and an electronic text created by applying FineReader optical character reading software to 300 dots per inch TIFF format image files of the photocopies.

The electronic transcript was then corrected by hand, retaining Adams's paragraphing, spelling and punctuation.
