Birds &c. (continued) one a fine Bright shining Collour and an Innocent harmless look, the other of a Black or dirty Brown and of a most forbidding appearance, they are both harmless and are seldom more then 6 inches long — Butterflys, Moths and Common Flys like those of Europe. They have also a Fly which differs very little from the Common Black fly, which bites very sharp and is sometimes very troublesom. These they say were first Brought here by the Lima Ships.20 The Musquettos are not very troublesom. The other insects, such as Grasshoppers Crickets, Beetles &c are the same as in other Countrys.
