This online edition of O'Keefe and Shield's Omai, or, a Trip round the World' was created by manually transcribing the text of the new London edition of 1785. The transcription retains the paragraphing, line-breaks, spelling and punctuation of the original as far as is practicable given the limitations of current browser softwares and hyper-text markup language (HTML). However, I have modernised the long s that was represented typographically by the letter f prior to 1800.
