DOGGERDOGGER, (dogre-boat, Dut.) a Dutch fishing-vessel navigated in the German ocean. It is generally employed in the herring-fishery, being equipped with two masts, viz. a main-mast and a mizen-mast, and somewhat resembling a ketch.
