FLY-BOAT, or FLIGHTFLY-BOAT, or FLIGHT, a large flat-bottomed Dutch vessel, whole burthen is generally from four to six hundred tons. It is distinguished by a stern remarkably high, resembling a Gothic turret, and by a very broad buttock below.
