First and latter parts fresh gales and squally with flying showers of rain and Hail. the Middle Strong gales with heavy Squalls and showers of rain. at 8 PM took the 2nd reef in the topsails — at 6 AM Close reef'd the Fore topsail and took in the Mizen topsail, and at 10 set it again and loosed the reef out of the ^ fore top sail —
